As a Pre-Sales Engineer at TriNet, you will play a crucial role in the Sales team by focusing on delivering standard pre-sales demonstrations and providing technical leadership to enhance the prospecting experience in the sales process. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Completing technology demonstrations and delivering high-level communications. - Effectively communicating across departments. - Creating internal pre-sales engineer processes and documentation. - Interpreting prospect requirements and providing insights on how TriNet can improve their operational effectiveness. - Coaching and offering professional development to Sales Consultants and Leadership to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills. - Coordinating and collaborating to understand customer requirements, promote product recommendations for prospects, and provide sales support. - Quickly comprehending and explaining complex engineering concepts in simple, effective terms. - Strategizing and planning prospect presentations. - Practicing time and territory management. - Handling data in the SalesForce CRM system. - Adhering to all policies and standards. In terms of qualifications, you should possess: Education Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required Experience Qualifications: - Typically 2+ years of experience in PEO Sales, Sales Support, or Sales Engineer - Typically 2+ years of experience with SalesForce or other CRMs - Typically 2+ years of experience in consultative selling and/or delivery of demos - Typically 2+ years of experience with selling technology platforms/applications Skills and Abilities: - Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. - Ability to meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth. - Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace. - Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving business environment. - Ability to connect with employees at all levels, including C-level leaders. - Outstanding phone presence and business acumen. - Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably with CRMs. - Solution-oriented mindset. - Detail-oriented with effective time management skills. Additionally, 25% travel may be required for this role. The work environment is 100% in-office, and you will work in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting.
