Pre-Sales Engineer

Role Overview: As a Pre-Sales Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the sales team to comprehend client requirements and design tailored IT solutions. Your responsibilities will include proposing and validating IT solutions, preparing technical presentations, creating solution architectures, and providing technical guidance during the tender process. Your role will also involve staying updated with emerging technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and business objectives. - Design, propose, and validate IT solutions involving networking, servers, storage, cybersecurity, cloud, and virtualization technologies. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions to clients. - Create solution architectures, technical proposals, and bill-of-materials (BOMs) for clients. - Conduct product evaluations, benchmark tests, and feasibility studies to support solution recommendations. - Provide technical guidance during RFP/RFI responses and tender processes. - Act as a bridge between sales, engineering, and project delivery teams for smooth project handovers. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and market trends to offer innovative solutions. - Assist in troubleshooting pre-sales technical issues and addressing client queries. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar role in IT system integration. - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, and enterprise solutions. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients. - Certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft (Azure), VMware, AWS, or relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
