Pre-Sales Engineer

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers.


• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.


• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and contribute to product enhancements.


• Provide technical support and guidance during the sales process, including responding to RFPs and RFIs.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.


• Acquire new customers by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.


• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in software supply chain security.


• Act as a trusted advisor, educating customers on best practices for software supply chain security.


• Support customer onboarding and initial implementation of security solutions.


• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, compliance standards (e.g., SLSA, NIST, ISO 27001), and competitive landscape.


• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studies.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably in the software security or DevOps domain.


• Strong understanding of software supply chain security, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and related technologies.


• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native security, and infrastructure-as-code security is a plus.


• Hands-on experience with container security, SBOM (Software Bill of Materials), SAST/DAST tools, and cloud security solutions.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.


• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Experience with container security, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies.


• Familiarity with tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and various security frameworks.


• Certifications in relevant technologies or security domains (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
