Policy Research & Content Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

 Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative research on emerging government policies,

regulations, and socio-economic issues

 Analyse policy themes related to governance, culture, society, and public initiatives

 Perform comprehensive fact-checking and ensure accuracy across all outputs

Content Development

 Create high-quality knowledge products including policy briefs, reports, articles, press

releases, blog posts, and website content

 Transform complex research findings into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences

 Draft notes, briefing documents, and structured analytical pieces

 Write and optimize content for digital platforms and knowledge repositories

 Support narrative development, naming conventions, and concept notes for projects and

campaigns

Strategic Communication

 Support development and implementation of communication strategies for masses

 Produce engaging social media content for platforms including LinkedIn, X and Instagram.

 Manage website updates using content management systems

 Contribute to internal and external newsletters and email campaigns

 Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding

Collaboration & Project Support

 Work closely with senior researchers and policy experts to distill complex findings

 Support ideation for campaigns and strategic project concepts

 Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to shifting priorities

Qualifications

Education

 Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred

 Fields: Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Journalism, Public Policy, Communications,

International Relations, or related disciplines

Experience

Minimum 2-5 years of progressively responsible experience in research-based content

writing

Background in think tanks, research organizations, NGOs, media, government

communications, or editorial/policy work preferred

 Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual with Hindi

preferred)

 Proven ability to distill complex information into clear, concise content for varied audiences

 Strong editing skills with attention to language clarity and structural coherence

 Capacity to synthesize findings across multiple sources and themes

 Evidence-based approach to policy solutions

Technical Skills

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and digital collaboration tools

 Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing platforms

 Understanding of social media best practices and optimization techniques
