Role Overview

end-to-end plant operations with Quality as the core function

Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership (HOD – Quality)

• Overall responsibility for

  Plant Quality as Head of Department

• Online quality testing –

  Attribute, Variable & Setup

• Product quality checks, deviation alerts, and escalation
• Raw, Packing & Finished Goods quality governance
• CAPA ownership and execution
• Quality results reporting to Top Management
• Conduct

  Root Cause Analysis & Action Planning

  for off-tracks

Supplier & RM/PM Management

• Single Point of Contact (SPOC)

  for suppliers
• Coordinate corrections/replacements for defective RM/PM
• Vendor follow-up with Purchase & Quality teams on spec deviations
• Quality review of RM & PM specifications

Systems, Documentation & Compliance

• Handling of

  Technical Data

  :
• Formula Cards
• Test Methods
• IPS / IPMS / PQMS / QEC
• Document Control Expertise:
• SOP issuance, control, retrieval & destruction
• QA document logs & records management
• Strong knowledge of

  SAP

  :
• Production release of RM / PM / FG / WIP with quality clearance

Audits & Standards

• Hands-on experience handling:

• 3 Global QA Audits

• 2 Deep & Dive Audits

• Multiple SIP audits
• Execution of

  CIL standards

• Machine centerline compliance
• SHA (System & Line Health Checks)

Manufacturing & Operations

• Ability to

  start-up / shut-down all plant utilities

• LOTO system implementation & compliance
• Operation of supporting equipment:
• Coding Machine
• Anritsu Checkweigher
• Domino Printer
• Brand & SKU changeover execution
• Autonomous maintenance leadership
• Strong exposure to VC machines (Vacuum systems)
• Technical knowledge:
• Fasteners, Drives, Pneumatics
• Advanced mechanical systems

Continuous Improvement & Safety

• Strong knowledge of:
• 6W2H
• Why-Why
• Fishbone
• 4M Analysis
• UPS / WPI / WPA / BDE
• Maintain

  Scorecards / SQM / PQM

• DDS daily issue escalation & solution tracking
• 5S & Kaizen implementation

Training & People Development

• Plant Quality Trainer

• Fem-care
• Develop and deliver

  OPLs (One Point Lessons)

• Build quality culture across production & maintenance teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical, Electrical, or Production preferred

• 10+ years experience

  in:
• Sanitary napkins / hygiene FMCG manufacturing
• Strong leadership with hands-on shopfloor control
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Excellent problem-solving and audit-handling capability
