Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Manage end-to-end production operations across shifts
• Ensure daily and monthly production targets are achieved
• Plan manpower, machine usage, and shift schedules
• Monitor raw material usage and control wastage
• Coordinate closely with planning, stores, and dispatch teams

Manpower Management

• Manage supervisors, operators, helpers, and contract labour
• Handle attendance, absenteeism, discipline, and productivity
• Train supervisors and workers on processes and quality
• Maintain a stable and efficient workforce

Quality Control

• Ensure quality standards are followed at every stage
• Reduce rejections, rework, and customer complaints
• Implement basic QC checks and accountability systems

Process & Efficiency

• Improve productivity through better workflow and layout
• Implement 5S / basic lean practices on the shop floor
• Identify bottlenecks and resolve them quickly
• Maintain machine uptime and coordinate maintenance

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure basic safety norms are followed
• Maintain statutory compliance related to labour and factory operations
• Keep records and reports as required

Reporting & Coordination

• Share daily production, rejection, and manpower reports
• Work closely with management during plant ramp-up
• Support ERP / reporting systems as implemented

Candidate Profile

Must Have

• 8–15 years of experience in manufacturing
• Prior experience in

  furniture / modular furniture / plywood / panel / interior manufacturing

• Strong shop-floor exposure and people management skills
• Experience handling

  50–150+ workers

• Comfortable working in a

  hands-on, Indian factory environment

Good to Have

• Experience in setting up or scaling a factory
• Exposure to board cutting, edge banding, assembly, polishing, packing
• Familiarity with basic lean / 5S practices

Compensation

• Fixed salary: 12–18 LPA (based on experience)
