Plant Manager

As a Plant Manager (Technical) at our industrial laundry facility in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the operations to ensure efficient workflow and high productivity. Your role will involve supervising staff, maintaining industrial laundry equipment, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring quality control, optimizing operational costs, and developing standard operating procedures to improve efficiency. Additionally, you will work closely with the maintenance team, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and coordinate with vendors when required. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily laundry plant operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely processing. - Supervise machine operators and technical staff to maintain high productivity. - Monitor and maintain industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, folding machines). - Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend machine lifespan. - Ensure quality control in washing, drying, ironing, and finishing processes. - Manage energy, water, and steam usage to optimize operational costs. - Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency. - Work closely with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. - Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and services when required. Qualifications & Experience: - 5+ years of experience in plant operations, preferably in industrial laundry, textiles, garment manufacturing, or facility management. - Hands-on experience with industrial machinery maintenance & troubleshooting. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Knowledge of steam systems, electrical panels, and automation (if applicable). - Ability to optimize operational processes and improve efficiency. - Understanding of preventive maintenance, quality control, and safety standards. In addition to the above, candidates from laundry, textile, garment manufacturing, or facility management backgrounds are preferred.
