Responsibilities: Plant Operations Leadership Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and EHS. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet production targets and customer demand. Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO, FDA, and other relevant regulatory standards. Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain high product quality and safety standards. People Management Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams across shifts. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning. Strategic Planning & Execution Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives. Develop and manage budgets, cost controls, and capital expenditure plans. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Champion a zero-incident safety culture Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals. Stakeholder Collaboration Liaise with R&D, procurement, sales, and senior leadership to align plant goals with organizational strategy. Support new product introductions and technology transfers. Vendor management Plan, Organize, Direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed internal and external, customer expectations. Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping and allocating resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus. Monitor operations and triggers corrective actions. Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime. Manage plant safety programs to ensure a safe working environment. Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts. Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. Ensure the plant operates with budgetary constraints. Responsible for complete administration of the plant including attending and managing of various statutory requirements Requirements and Skills: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Pharmacy, or related field. A degree in Operations management will be an added advantage. Minimum 14-20 years of working experience and at least 5 years of experience in a plant leadership role.
