Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead our wheat processing plant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, maintaining machinery, managing labour, and ensuring safety compliance—all while meeting production targets and cost-efficiency goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the daily operations of the wheat milling/processing plant.

2. Plan and oversee production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw material.

3. Supervise and manage plant workforce, including technicians, machine operators, labourers, and supervisors.

4. Conduct daily team briefings and ensure workforce productivity and discipline.

5. Ensure all quality control procedures and food safety standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP) are strictly followed.

6. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery uptime and preventive maintenance schedules.

7. Prepare regular production and performance reports for management.

8. Coordinate with head office for raw material planning, dispatches, and statutory approvals.

What We Need:

1. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in a related field.

2. 9+ years of experience in plant operations, preferably in agro or food manufacturing.

3. Strong knowledge of B2B business, FMCG, Food Processing.

4. Leadership skills with ability to handle a large team across shifts.

5. Familiar with statutory compliance in food safety, labour laws, and environment.

6. Experience in utilizing MS Office tools.
