Plant Manager

As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the plant's long-term operational and business strategy in alignment with corporate goals. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. - Reviewing and approving production targets, budgets, and operating plans. - Leading and managing the plant team to achieve organizational goals and production targets. - Planning, organizing, and controlling daily plant operations to meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) commitments. - Building a performance-driven culture with clear accountability and recognition systems. - Evaluating the challenges faced by the business and taking action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities. - Contributing to the overall business strategy and annual budget process. - Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs. - Providing leadership to departments under control and coaching, mentoring, and developing direct reports. - Establishing strategy and best practices for staff to ensure achievement of overall business objectives. - Monitoring and controlling overall costs, including labour, materials, and overhead expenses. - Ensuring strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and implement change and improvements. - Making timely and effective decisions to address operational challenges. - Overseeing day-to-day plant operations to ensure optimal production performance and equipment reliability. - Managing the plant's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, driving cost efficiency and profitability. You should have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership roles and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) qualification. Additionally, hands-on experience in CNC machining, metal manufacturing, and valve manufacturing processes is essential. Exposure to ERP-driven manufacturing environments, with experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1), will be considered an added advantage.,
