Plant Incharge

Full Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Incharge to oversee operations of our Coal & Carbon production plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, ensuring quality standards, implementing safety protocols, and driving efficiency in day-to-day plant activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, manpower, and logistics.
• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet targets.
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources such as raw materials, machinery, and manpower.
• Implement and maintain safety, health, and environmental (HSE) standards in compliance with industry regulations.
• Monitor and control quality parameters of coal/carbon products as per industry norms.
• Supervise and guide plant workforce, ensuring discipline, training, and skill development.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot plant issues and minimize downtime through preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, MIS, and cost control measures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Liaise with government authorities and ensure statutory compliances are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in coal, carbon, steel, or heavy process industries.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, and safety norms.
• Leadership qualities with experience in managing large teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle crises effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and plant management systems.

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
