Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities

IRHR Responsibility

  • Oversee all necessary paperwork, employee communications, benefits maintenance, leave tracking, management reports, workers compensation claims, and return to work programs is completed
  • Complete initial reporting, accident investigations, communication work restrictions, claim adjuster correspondence, tracking and claim review analysis for settlements
  • Create termination packages, complete assigned terminations, ensure all termination paperwork is complete as per requirements
  • Steer HR-related projects and initiatives throughout the year, maintain HR-related spreadsheets, update and distribute it on a predetermined schedule
  • Handle grievance procedures
  • Manage dispute resolutions involving unions, management, employees or government agencies, etc.
  • Have knowledge about union contract compliance
  • Advise management on contract negotiations and similar management-union relations
  • Addressing employee relations issues and resolving conflicts
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations
  • Managing employee benefits and compensation packages
  • Manage Audit related task for entire plant
  • Coordinate and prepare HR-related documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and maintain required documentation.
  • Support GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance by managing training records, competency matrices, and employee awareness programs.
  • Maintain records for audits and legal compliance
  • Prepare reports for management on IR issues

Recruitment

  • Creating job descriptions recognizing the manpower needs and taking them for approval for various roles and advertising them on multiple platforms
  • Managing HR activities like meetings, interviews, and other schedules
  • Managing recruitment processes, including resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
  • Maintaining employee records and updating HR databases
  • Conducting regular connects with various function leads/ Hiring managers
  • Preparing and presenting HR-related reports to management
  • Managing and handling the orientation of new employees

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 7 Years 10 Years

Qualifications/ Education

Bachelors degree in labour relations, business management or human resources is required

Candidates with a Masters degree in human resource management and industrial/labour relations would be given preference

Visakhapatnam

Additionally, you will be required to prepare and distribute information for management. You need to be well-versed with Salaries and wages, labour laws, healthcare benefits, work hours, fair employee practices, safety codes, union practices, pensions, grievances.
