Plant Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage overall plant operations to meet production targets and business goals.
• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure strict adherence to

  quality standards, safety protocols, and statutory compliance

  .
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, HR, etc.).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as

  Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen

  .
• Develop and mentor plant staff to build a high-performing workforce.
• Ensure optimum utilization of machinery, manpower, and raw materials.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and review performance metrics regularly.
• Liaison with top management to align plant goals with organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.

Eligibility:

• Education:

  B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

• Experience:

  5+ years in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership/plant management role.
