This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Head - Forging & Machining located in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing plant operations, production planning, quality control, budgeting, and production management. The role involves ensuring efficient and reliable production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, managing budgets, and optimizing production schedules. The Plant Head will also be responsible for leading and mentoring the plant team to achieve operational excellence.Roles

Responsibilities
· To improve overall plant efficiency (OEE) as per target set in annual business plan.
· To ensure customer schedules are met in time.
· To continuously improving productivity and quality norms.
· To ensure
annual business plan and monthly budget as per customer schedule. · To plan man, machine, material, consumables and other resources within budget.
· To reduce/manage manpower and operational cost as per budget to improve profitability.
· To control sales vs salary as per targets in annual business plan as well as monthly plan.
· To achieve customer quality and delivery requirements.

Maintain inventory levels and control flow of product.· To achieve Zero customer complaints and highest supplier rating scores.
· To ensure higher employee satisfaction.
· To implement performance management system throughout the plant.
· To maintain industrial peace and harmonious relations with employees by total employee engagement.
· To comply with all the legal and statutory rules and regulations.
· To ensure proper usage of SAP platform and its reports for day to day management.
· To use PDCA approach to achieve excellence in operations and to implement TPM.
· To ensure timely and qualitative development of new parts.
· Weekly review the department performance, product conformance, customer satisfaction, audit NC review and improvement projects status.
· To ensure plant safety/health and environment for man/materials/machines.
· To ensure team building and inculcating positive approach.
· Daily DWM meeting review yesterday plan vs actual performance and next day plan.
