We work with government, corporate, and philanthropic partners to offer training in areas like IT, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, BFSI, HR and 5G Tech. We aim to close the employability gap by preparing students with the skills they need for today’s job market.

Learner Profile

Our learners are typically first-generation graduates, diploma holders, or young professionals from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. They come from modest economic backgrounds and are either seeking their first job or looking to improve their employment prospects in areas such as Technology & Data, Telecom & Wireless, Finance & Accounting, or HR. They are motivated, trainable, and career-focused.

Role Objective

The goal of this role is to place learners from various Cultus programs into relevant jobs by developing employer partnerships, enhancing student employability, and ensuring strong conversion from training to employment.

Responsibilities

Employer Engagement & Partnerships

·        Identify and build relationships with companies in IT, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, BFSI, HR and 5G Tech.

·        Build and manage relationships with HR professionals and hiring managers

·        Organise job fairs, employer webinars, and placement events

·        Maintain an updated database of hiring partners

Placement Execution

·        Match learner skills to job roles.

·        Share profiles with companies and coordinate interviews

·        Track job applications and offer rollouts

Career Enablement

·        Conduct resume workshops and interview practice sessions

·        Train students in communication and workplace behaviour

·        Assist with job portal and LinkedIn profile creation

Reporting & Team Collaboration

·        Placement Manager: Manage dashboards, track team KPIs, and review employer satisfaction

·        Placement Officer: Maintain daily trackers and ensure follow-ups

·        Collaborate with trainers and program leads to align placement efforts

Qualifications

Education & Experience

·        Placement Manager: 5–10 years in placements, recruitment, skilling, or EdTech

·        Placement Officer: 2–4 years in placement coordination or student engagement

·        A graduate degree is required; MBA/PGDM preferred for Placement Manager

Skills

·        Strong communication skills in English and Tamil

·        Ability to build and maintain employer relationships

·        Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM tools

·        Understanding of job placement challenges in smaller towns

·        Leadership for manager roles; coordination and empathy for officer roles

Compensation

·        Salary will be based on experience and role

·        Incentives will be linked to placement performance and retention
