Taxila Business School, a premier institution in Jaipur, invites applications for the full-time position of Placement Manager. This is a key strategic role focused on enhancing the career prospects of our students by bridging the gap between academic talent and corporate requirements.


Salary Range: 75K - 90K


Position Summary

 * Job Title: Placement Manager

 * Job Type: Full-time position

 * Department: Career Services

 * Reporting to: Officer, Career Services department


Key Responsibilities

The Placement Manager will be responsible for the following:

  •  Industry Outreach: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential recruiting partners, industry leaders, business vertical heads, and key decision-makers to understand their talent needs and preferences.
  •  Market Engagement: Tap recruiters in the lateral market and pitch Taxila's management programmes to them. The manager must identify appropriate job opportunities for the student batch that are relevant to their profile.
  • Collaborative Events: Identify and create opportunities for collaboration, such as guest lectures, career workshops, and networking events, to enrich the learning experience and enhance placement prospects for students.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on the job market, industry trends, and economic dynamics to understand the pulse of the market and develop placement strategies accordingly.
  •  Internal Coordination: Collaborate with the student placement committee to understand the job preferences of the student batch.
  •  Alumni Network: Cultivate strong alumni relations and leverage this network to generate more job opportunities. This includes organizing alumni talks, knowledge sessions, and mentorship events.
  •  Reporting: Track and maintain placement metrics and outcomes, and update the Career Services Officer on a regular basis.
  • Feedback Loop: Get feedback from recruiters and industry partners regarding the relevance of the programme curriculum and feedback on candidates.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in any field and an MBA from a good business school. Candidates should have a first division throughout their academics.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in career services, talent acquisition, or corporate relations is required, preferably within a higher education or executive education setting.
  •  * Industry Knowledge: The candidate must have a strong understanding of the executive MBA landscape, including the needs and expectations of senior-level executives and employers.
