This role focuses on enabling students to connect with job opportunities and corporates, supporting them through the placement process, and ensuring retention in formal employment.

The Job

• Understand students’ career needs through direct and indirect interactions
• Identify opportunities that match those needs via social media platforms and personal networks
• Connect with corporates in relevant sectors and manage relationships with them
• Prepare students to apply for selected job opportunities
• Arrange placement events, including logistics and other arrangements to facilitate interviews and selection
• Collate data for interviews and selections and update dashboards
• Provide post–placement support to students with respect to joining and retention as needed

Role Details

• Work with corporates on one side and with students on the other
• Understand the job market requirements and match these with the skills of students
• Mobilize and reach out to disadvantaged student groups from tier 3 and tier 4 colleges
• Provide pre-placement support by creating awareness about the importance of formal sector jobs and sharing market insights
• Build and manage relationships with recruiters, understand their hiring needs, and connect them with students
• Organize career fests, drives, and other placement events, handling all logistics
• Ensure a minimum of 70% of trained students are placed through career fests, drives, and self-placements
• Provide post-placement support and motivate students to ensure job retention
• Collect and manage data on placements, joining, and retention
• Innovate and improvise on the program to make it engaging and impactful

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in student engagement (including internships and volunteer work)
• Experience in sourcing job opportunities across sectors
• Demonstrated excellence in academics, internships, and extracurricular work
• Graduate and/or postgraduate degree (preferred)
• Ability to work in diverse teams and under pressure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Event management experience (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹750,000.00 per year
