Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1 Placement Operations Execution

Coordinate end-to-end placement activities for students: internship full-time.

Prepare and maintain placement calendars, drive placement weeks, and schedule drives.

Organize pre-placement talks, interviews, technical tests, and onboarding coordination.

Ensure smooth communication between employers, students, and university administration.

2 Employer Outreach Industry Connect

Engage and onboard hiring partners from IT, cybersecurity, consulting, BFSI, and technology sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, recruiters, and corporate partners.

Maintain an employer database and ensure continuous opportunities for student hiring.

3 Student Readiness Career Development

Conduct mock interviews, resume-building workshops, and soft-skill improvement sessions.

Guide students on career paths such as SOC analyst, security engineer, VAPT trainee, cloud roles, etc.

Track student performance, readiness levels, and placement eligibility.

4 Reporting Documentation

Prepare weekly/monthly placement reports for TechD and campus leadership.

Update dashboards with placement status, pipeline, and offer conversion metrics.

Maintain accurate documentation of placement drives, employer feedback, and student progress.

5 Coordination with Academic Teams

Work closely with trainers, program managers, and the Director - Academia to ensure employability standards.

Align training modules with industry expectations and evolving cybersecurity job roles.

Qualifications

MBA (preferred) or Bachelor s degree with relevant experience.

2-3 years of experience in recruitment, placements, HR, talent acquisition, or career services.

Familiarity with cybersecurity, IT roles, or technical hiring is an added advantage.

Key Skills

Strong communication interpersonal skills

Relationship-building with corporate partners

Coordination multi-tasking ability

Understanding of tech/cybersecurity job roles (preferred)

Reporting, documentation MS Excel skills
