Job Purpose
GSK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition lead for leading hiring efforts for commercial roles across India, with a focus on consumer-facing positions in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. This role will play a key part in driving recruitment strategies for commercial, sales, campus hiring, medical affairs, and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, proven team leadership experience, and a solid background in hiring within FMCG or pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent for commercial roles, including sales, medical affairs, campus hiring, and supply chain positions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the talent market to proactively identify and engage high-potential candidates.
- Drive campus recruitment strategy
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with senior business leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide expert recruitment guidance.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Lead the leadership and executive hiring.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing talent acquisition team, driving operational excellence and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Set team goals, monitor performance, and provide professional development opportunities to enhance productivity.
Campus Hiring:
- Develop and manage campus recruitment programs to build a strong pipeline of future talent.
- Strengthen relationships with academic institutions to promote GSK as an employer of choice.
Vendor and RPO Management (Preferred):
- Collaborate with recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) partners to ensure efficient and effective hiring processes.
- Manage vendor relationships to optimize recruitment outcomes.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to GSK’s policies, recruitment processes, and compliance standards.
- Provide regular recruitment metrics and insights to leadership teams, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 13 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on commercial hiring in FMCG or pharmaceutical industries. Driven campus strategy & leadership hiring.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of sales, medical affairs, campus hiring, and supply chain recruitment within pharma/life sciences or FMCG sectors.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage and influence senior leaders and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing recruitment teams.
- RPO Management (Preferred): Hands-on experience in managing RPO partnerships is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Work Arrangement
