About The Opportunity

Join an energetic on-site fitness team focused on helping members build sustainable habits, improve functional strength, and achieve wellness goals. This entry-level role is ideal for freshers who want hands-on experience delivering group classes, personalised sessions, and fitness assessments in a fast-paced gym environment.Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead safe, engaging group fitness classes (HIIT, circuit, functional training) and deliver on-time, structured sessions for diverse member levels.
  • Conduct baseline fitness assessments and design customised exercise programs aligned to member goals, limitations, and progress metrics.
  • Deliver one-to-one personal training sessions with clear exercise demonstration, form correction, progression planning, and motivation.
  • Maintain clean, safe training areas; set up and return equipment; monitor member safety and report incidents per club protocols.
  • Drive member engagement and retention through proactive follow-ups, progress updates, and friendly relationship-building at the front of house.
  • Collaborate with senior trainers and managers to refine class offerings, share best practices, and participate in ongoing training sessions.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Certification from a recognised fitness body (ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent)
  • Valid CPR and AED certification
  • Practical knowledge of exercise programming for strength and cardio
  • Ability to conduct fitness assessments and track basic performance metrics
  • Clear verbal communication and ability to cue movements effectively
  • Willingness to work on-site and flexible shift timings (including mornings/evenings and weekends)

Preferred

  • Prior experience leading group classes or internships at gyms/fitness studios
  • Certification in group fitness formats (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Zumba)
  • Familiarity with member-management software or basic fitness apps
