Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Performance Marketing Specialist – E-commerce based in Hyderabad. The Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue growth. Day-to-day tasks will include managing performance campaigns, monitoring key performance indicators, conducting data analysis, overseeing budget allocations, and optimizing marketing efforts for the best return on investment. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.


Key Responsibilities

Performance Marketing

·      Plan and manage campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and Affiliates.

·      Drive results for ROI, ROAS, CPA, and acquisition costs.

·      Conduct A/B testing of creatives, audiences, and landing pages.

·      Optimize budgets and campaign scalability.

·      Oversee remarketing and retargeting strategies.

·      Prepare and deliver detailed actionable campaign reports.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

·      Lead technical and content SEO strategies for Booncart’s extensive product catalog.

·      Conduct comprehensive site audits, resolve indexation and crawl issues, and optimize architecture for scalable organic growth.

·      Own and execute keyword research and mapping for categories, product pages, and content hubs.

·      Implement structured data (schema markup), canonical tags, pagination, and hreflang for Shopify/Magento/BigCommerce platforms.

·      Enhance Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) in collaboration with developers; optimize page speed and rendering for search and conversion.

·      Develop and execute link building, digital PR, and competitor analysis initiatives.

·      Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headings, content, image alt text) and ensure alignment to search intent.

·      Track SEO KPIs (organic revenue, category ranking, non-brand growth) and report actionable insights to management.

·      Stay up to date with search algorithm updates and industry best practices; recommend tactical and strategic adjustments.

SMM (Social Media Marketing)

·      Develop and manage creative SMM campaigns to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.

·      Build Booncart’s online community through daily content publishing, engagement, and monitoring across all key social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.).

·      Grow social audiences with consistent, channel-optimized content and influencer/brand collaborations.

·      Oversee planning and execution of paid social campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversion, aligning with product launches and seasonal promotions.

·      Monitor social analytics and engagement metrics, adjusting content and outreach accordingly.

·      Manage social listening, community response, and online reputation.

·      Coordinate with internal and external teams for unified omni-channel brand messaging.

·      Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes to innovate SMM strategy.

Qualifications & Skills

·      4–6 years of total digital marketing experience, with at least 2 years each in SEO and SMM within an e-commerce or marketplace environment.

·      Demonstrated expertise in Google Ads, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, and social media ad campaign management.

·      Advanced proficiency in SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog), SMM and analytics platforms (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).

·      Deep hands-on knowledge of technical SEO, schema, Core Web Vitals, and large catalog management.

·      Strong content creation/copywriting skills for web and social.

·      Analytical mindset with outstanding problem-solving and reporting skills.

·      Strong cross-functional communication and team collaboration.

·      Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
