Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist as we expand the team supporting our day to day employee support. You’ll play a critical role in delivering HR operational support to ensure that employee queries are addressed or escalated to the correct team. This is an onsite role where you will be an integral part of our shared services team, dedicated to answering questions, resolving issues, and escalating complex matters to the appropriate teams. The role will support the People Operations Team with the objective of efficiently and successfully organizing and coordinating high-volume HR activities.


Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, answering a wide range of questions in-person at the HR help desk, as well as via phone or email.

Be a welcoming and approachable presence at the HR concierge desk, ready to assist employees with their day-to-day HR inquiries.

Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in an onsite customer service or HR support role, preferably in a front-desk or help-desk capacity.


Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Act as the face of HR support to our employees based in our Bangalore office, operating in a HR concierge desk environment. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, answering a wide range of questions related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and company procedures.
  • Open and process HR cases on ServiceNow for all types of employee HR queries
  • Ensure any issues are dealt with in a professional manner with the highest level of customer service
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries and requests through our case management platform, ServiceNow
  • Work with People Ops sub-teams to align on the guidelines for reassigning cases
  • Respond and resolve ServiceNow cases within SLAs
  • Escalate complex or specialized issues (e.g., in-depth benefits questions, legal inquiries, or complex payroll discrepancies) to the appropriate Tier 2 HR teams or specialists.
  • Suggest new ideas for automation, case management and self-service in our tools


Skills And Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years HR Specialist/Generalist experience, proficient in HR operations
  • Familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow for efficient employee data management
  • Experience with Tracker I-9 tool or I-9 form verification
  • Proficiency in GDrive for secure and organized electronic file / data management
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at prioritization in dynamic settings
  • Attention to detail crucial for HR processes accuracy and compliance
  • Preferably experience in compliance and mobility transactions
  • Maintains high confidentiality and integrity handling sensitive HR data
  • High-energy, articulate, and friendly demeanor with a strong customer-service orientation
