EY- GDS India – People Consulting, HR Transformation – Senior Consultant

The opportunity

We are looking for Senior Consultant with expertise in HR Transformation (GCC/SSC) to join the People Consulting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a leading global professional services organisation whilst being instrumental in the growth of the People Consulting team.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes to identify areas for improvement and developing strategic plans to drive transformation
  • Create a compelling business case outlining the financial feasibility and benefits of the GCC/SSC model, including cost-saving projections and efficiency gains
  • Define KPIs and SLAs to measure and track the effectiveness of shared services and GBS/GCC operations
  • Functional knowledge and expertise in Core HRIS system, such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian Dayforce, ServiceNow etc.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their objectives achieved
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, facilitating change management, and supporting decision-making
  • Hands -on experience in reporting and data analysis, i.e, FTE analysis, SLA monitoring etc.
  • Mentor and develop juniors, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform and enhance the transformation strategy

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience in implementation of GCC/managed services/shared services and service delivery models
  • Experienced in HR transformation methods, frameworks and practical delivery
  • HR Operational experience in shared services/GCC delivery is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the technology being used to evolve and optimise shared services/GCC
  • Knowledge and market insights on the evolution of HR Operating Models and Shared Services
  • Knowledge of the AI use-cases for HR shared service optimisation
  • An experienced and dynamic communicator and influencer
  • Expertise in developing detailed business requirements and process documentation

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in similar, preferably with multinational organizations
  • Master’s degree in HR or full time MBA in HR
  • Experience of working in a consulting environment
  • Professional certifications in HR or project management are beneficial

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in business process reengineering, service delivery optimisation, or operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in global HR regulations, emerging technologies, and best practices
