Pendo Implementation Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a Pendo Implementation Consultant to join our team and drive successful onboarding, configuration, and adoption of Pendo for our clients. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Pendo solutions that accelerate product adoption, improve user experience, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Pendo implementation projects, including discovery, configuration, deployment, and post-launch support.
  
• Partner with product managers, UX, engineering, and customer success teams to understand business goals and map them to Pendo capabilities.
  
• Configure guides, in-app messaging, analytics dashboards, feature tagging, and segments to align with client objectives.
  
• Define KPIs and success metrics, ensuring measurable ROI from Pendo usage.
  
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams, enabling them to be self-sufficient with the platform.
  
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Pendo best practices, including governance, tagging strategy, and content management.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product) to ensure smooth delivery and continuous client satisfaction.
  
• Document implementation processes, configuration decisions, and playbooks for future scalability.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 
  3–10 years of experience in software implementation, product consulting, or technical consulting.
  
• Hands-on experience with Pendo (or similar digital adoption/analytics tools) is highly preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of SaaS environments, product analytics, and user adoption strategies.
  
• Technical proficiency: ability to work with JavaScript snippets, CSS, HTML, and browser debugging tools for tagging and guide configuration.
  
• Excellent project management skills; able to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
  
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering outcomes.

Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience implementing digital adoption platforms (Pendo, WalkMe, Gainsight PX, Appcues, etc.).
  
• Familiarity with APIs and integrations into CRMs, CDPs, or analytics platforms.
  
• Experience in SaaS, product-led growth, or customer success environments.
  
• Certification or formal training in Pendo.
