Job Title: HR Executive – Payroll Specialist Location: Kolkata Experience: 3–5 years (preferred) Employment Type: Full-time Salary : - Up to 5 LPA About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced HR Executive – Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in payroll processing, statutory compliances, and excellent proficiency in advanced Excel. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage payroll processing for 500+ employees. Ensure accurate computation of salaries, bonuses, leaves, and other payroll components. Handle all statutory compliances including PF, ESI, and Professional Tax (P-Tax) – including timely generation and filing of challans. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations. Prepare and verify payroll reports, reconciliations, and audit schedules. Coordinate with finance and HR teams for timely payroll inputs and resolutions. Maintain employee records related to salary, bonuses, and deductions. Address employee queries regarding salary and statutory deductions. Requirements: Proven experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance. In-depth understanding of PF, ESI, P-Tax, and bonus/leave policies. Proficient in Advanced Excel – including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Self-driven and capable of working independently. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field. Certification in payroll or HR operations is a plus.
