Payroll Executive

Department: HR / Finance / Compliance Reports To: HR Manager / Finance Manager / Compliance Head ✅ Job Purpose to manage statutory compliance related to Provident Fund (PF) and Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) for the organization, ensuring timely registration, contribution, and filing in accordance with applicable laws. ✅ Key Responsibilities. PF & ESI Compliance handle registration of the company under EPFO and ESIC portals. Manage enrollment of new employees in PF and ESI schemes. Maintain accurate records of PF and ESI accounts for all employees. Ensure timely payment of PF and ESI contributions before due dates. Generate and submit monthly returns (ECR for PF, ESIC challan). Update employee PF/ESI details such as KYC, bank details, and UAN generation. 2. Liaison & Communication act as the point of contact for PF and ESI queries from employees. Coordinate with PF and ESI departments for issue resolution. Assist in audits and inspections by statutory authorities. 3. Documentation & Reporting maintain proper documentation of challans, receipts, and returns filed. Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance reports for management. Ensure compliance with labor laws related to PF & ESI. 4. Policy & Update stay updated with changes in EPF & ESI laws and notifications. Implement necessary changes in processes as per legal requirements. ✅ Skills & Competencies knowledge Competencies knowledge of PF & ESI Acts and related compliance. Familiarity with EPFO Unified Portal & ESIC Portal. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Good communication skills for employee support and statutory liaison. Basic knowledge of payroll process is an added advantage. ✅ Educational Qualification Qualification graduate in Commerce, HR, or related field. Certification in Payroll & Statutory Compliance preferred. ✅ Experience 1–3 years of experience in HR/Compliance handling PF & ESI.
