📌 Location:

Mumbai, Maharashtra

📌 Core Role & Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and build a robust pipeline of potential partners and funders looking to effect change in education pan-India [including High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), Wealth Management firms, Private Equity/VC firms with an ESG focus, NGOs, and educational institutions (schools)]. 
• Identify key points of contact for each potential partner/funder.
• Conduct strategic analysis of potential partners to tailor outreach and proposals effectively.
• Create compelling, high-quality funding proposals, partnership decks, and formal presentations that articulate Rangeet's value proposition, impact, and needs.
• Work closely with the leadership team to structure partnership deals and funding agreements.
• Continuously monitor the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), CSR, and EdTech funding landscape to identify new trends, potential donors, and strategic opportunities for Rangeet.
• Maintain a meticulous database of contacts, interactions, and pipeline status.
• Over time, initiate relationships with key decision-makers across the targets identified.

📌 Academic Background:

• Required: ⁠Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in one of the following: Economics, Finance, Business, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Entrepreneurship, Journalism. 
• ⁠Strong academic record; research or data-heavy coursework is a plus.

📌 Requirements:

• 4-5 years of research experience across: 
• equity/investment research or 
• journalism in the fields of business/finance/development/social impact or
• consulting.
• Exceptional presentation and proposal writing skills, with a proven track record of creating persuasive business and funding documents. Familiarity with PowerPoint; ability to produce polished decks.
• Ability to gather, synthesise, and critically analyse information from academic journals, industry reports, government data, and competitor analyses.
• Ability to present findings clearly in charts, infographics, and dashboards.
• Strong written and spoken English skills (in addition, written and spoken Hindi skills would be good-to-have).
• Strong interest in education is essential. Interest in ESG is a plus.
