Job Title: Control Panel Manufacturing Workshop Supervisor Location: Turbhe navi Mumbai Department: Electrical / Manufacturing Reports To: Production Manager / Operations Manager Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our control panel manufacturing workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing workshop staff, ensuring timely and high-quality production of electrical control panels, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of technicians and electricians in the workshop. Plan, schedule, and allocate work to meet production deadlines and project timelines. Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel drawings, and wiring diagrams. Ensure all control panels are assembled, wired, and tested in accordance with specifications and industry standards. Monitor the use of materials and manage inventory to prevent shortages or delays. Perform quality checks and ensure all products meet safety and functional requirements. Implement and maintain health and safety procedures within the workshop. Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain production records, job cards, and progress reports. Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in control panel manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of electrical standards (e.g., IEC, UL, NEC). Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in using workshop tools and equipment. Knowledge of quality and safety standards applicable to electrical fabrication. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motor starters, and industrial automation components. Experience with ERP systems and production tracking software. Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus. Show more Show less
