Trinity Super Specialty Eye Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our facilities maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of all hospital facilities, buildings, premises, and precincts across our branches through comprehensive painting and maintenance services. This role is crucial in ensuring our healthcare environment remains welcoming, professional, and well-maintained for patients, visitors, and staff. Duties and Responsibilities Facility Maintenance & Painting Operations Execute periodic painting of all hospital facilities, buildings, and infrastructure to ensure longevity and proper care of installations Conduct regular assessments of painting requirements across all hospital branches and premises Perform interior and exterior painting of walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other surfaces Apply protective coatings and finishes to prevent deterioration and extend surface life Handle touch-up work and emergency painting requirements as needed Planning & Project Management Develop meticulous planning and scheduling of painting works at various hospital sites Prepare detailed work schedules to minimize disruption to hospital operations Coordinate with department heads to schedule work during optimal times Prioritize painting projects based on urgency, safety requirements, and hospital operations Cost Management & Procurement Prepare accurate cost estimations for painting projects and materials Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams for material acquisition Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of paints, primers, brushes, and related supplies Implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards Track expenses and provide regular cost reports to management Quality Control & Waste Reduction Ensure high-quality workmanship that meets hospital standards and healthcare facility requirements Implement measures to reduce reworks and minimize material wastages Conduct quality inspections of completed work before handover Maintain detailed records of work completed and materials used Occupational Safety & Safe Work Environment Maintain strict adherence to occupational health and safety standards in all painting activities Ensure safe work environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors during painting operations Implement proper ventilation protocols to minimize exposure to paint fumes and chemicals Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, gloves, goggles, and protective clothing Follow lockout/tag out procedures when working on electrical installations or equipment Conduct safety briefings and risk assessments before commencing work at each site Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near-misses immediately to management Ensure compliance with healthcare facility safety regulations and infection control protocols Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals and paints used Implement proper disposal procedures for paint waste and contaminated materials Equipment & Tool Management Ensure proper storage and maintenance of painting tools, equipment, and machinery Conduct regular maintenance of painting equipment to ensure optimal performance Maintain inventory of tools and equipment, recommending replacements when necessary Follow safety protocols for handling and storage of painting materials and chemicals Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, inspected, and certified for safe operation Maintain equipment logs and service records for audit and compliance purposes Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with various hospital departments to understand specific painting requirements Ensure department and user satisfaction after work completion through follow-up assessments Communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors during work execution Provide technical guidance and recommendations to management regarding painting needs Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
