Job Details:

We’re looking for a hands-on, curious, and dependable OT Engineer to join our growing team. If you’ve spent a couple of years working with PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial protocols (like Modbus or OPC), and you're now looking to grow your skills in modern OT/IoT integrations, this role is for you.You’ll be part of real-world industrial deployments — helping connect machines, sensors, and control systems to modern edge and cloud platforms. Expect a mix of fieldwork, protocol troubleshooting, integration, and learning by doing.

Educational Qualifications

  • Engineering degree – Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in industrial automation or control systems, or C&I.
  • Good working knowledge of at least 1–2 protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profinet, etc.).

Role And Responsibilities

Key Objectives

  • Support installation and configuration of OT systems – PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, gateways, etc.
  • Work with industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC DA/UA, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
  • Assist with setting up edge gateways and collecting real-time data from plants, machines, sensors, etc.
  • Help document system architecture, tag lists, and protocol mappings.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between field devices, networks, and servers.
  • Coordinate with IT/cybersecurity teams to ensure secure data flow and basic compliance.

Critical Competencies

Technical Competencies

  • Good working knowledge of at least 1–2 protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profinet, etc.).
  • Exposure to PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, etc.) or SCADA/HMI software or DCS (ABB, Yokogawa, or Honeywell, etc).
  • Some basic understanding of IP networking, industrial switches, Firewall is a plus.
  • Bonus if you’ve used scripting tools (Python, Node.js) or cloud platforms like Azure/AWS for OT projects.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity for OT networks (IEC 62443, segmentation).
  • Experience with tools like Kepware, Ignition, or OPC clients.
