Job Description

Job Title: Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

Location: Offshore/Onsite (India)

Role Type: Individual Contributor


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Configuration:

  • Lead or support end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials modules:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Cash Management
  • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Fusion Tax
  • Configure financial modules based on client requirements using Oracle best practices.
  • Functional Consulting:

  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and design functional solutions.
  • Prepare functional specifications for reports, extensions, and integrations.
  • Testing & Deployment:

  • Develop and execute test scripts for CRP, SIT, and UAT phases.
  • Support production cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Data Migration & Integration:

  • Define and oversee financial data migration strategies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integrations using FBDI, Web Services, and OTBI.
  • Training & Documentation:

  • Conduct user training and prepare user manuals.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Project Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in design reviews and solution validation.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience:

  • 5+ years in Oracle ERP Financials, with 2–3 years in Fusion Cloud.
  • Minimum one full-cycle Fusion Financials implementation.
  • Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, banking, or public sector.
  • Technical Proficiency:

  • Hands-on experience with Fusion Spreadsheet Loader, FBDI, OTBI, and Financial Reporting Studio.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Application Composer and workflow configurations.
  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in global delivery models.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT.
  • Professional certifications like Oracle Cloud Financials, CA, CMA, or MBA Finance.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and travel onsite if required.
