About The Role. The role is a management role responsible for leading team for the professional reconciliation of transaction passed over to the Group's Accounts in line with SLA requirements and Group policy. The focus is on Break Management and to ensure high quality, prompt and efficient matching of time critical transactions, raise timely investigation, and actioning enquiries to enable clearance of outstanding transactions.. What will your day look like?. Ensure that all transactions are actioned and queried in a timely manner with focus on high-value items that may be exposed to significant risk.. Drive cost efficiency through efficient break reduction and auto match enhancements. Drive customer delight by exceeding performance against the SLA.. High sense of urgency around customer queries/escalations. Build collaborative relationship with the customers across the Business Units and Countries. Ensure continued service to customer. 100% completion of all Manual Matches accurately and timely. Follow up, investigate and resolve outstanding transactions assigned to the Reconciliations team.. Manage all outstanding transactions and pending files which have remained outstanding within the agreed standards.. Drive knowledge enhancement for the staff through continuous learning. Improve processes through projects. Adequate/accurate and timely reporting of outstanding breaks. What will you bring?. To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:. Good people management skills with ability to manage teams. Ability to influence staff in delivering good results and drive performance. Good understanding of reconciliation practices and accounting principles. Ability to lead knowledge enhancement of staff on reconciliation products/practices and accounting principles. Decision Making, Resource allocation and management. You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
