Oppo Mobiles is looking For Zonal Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute zonal sales strategies for mobile devices and accessories.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the zone.
• Monitor sell-in and sell-out targets and ensure timely billing to distributors/partners.
• Appoint and manage distributors, retailers, and large-format stores.
• Ensure proper stock availability, pricing, and promotional display at retail outlets.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers and promoters to drive sales.
• Expand the retail footprint across urban and rural markets.
• Implement trade promotions, marketing campaigns, and retail branding initiatives.
• Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and field promoters.
• Conduct training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market updates.
• Monitor KPIs, performance, and provide coaching for improvements.
• Build strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Handle escalations and ensure superior service to channel partners.
• Provide regular sales MIS, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
• Analyze sales data to measure performance and ROI on trade schemes.
• Suggest corrective actions to bridge gaps between targets and achievements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 8-13 years of experience in Mobile Handsets / Telecom / Consumer Electronics.
• Proven track record of managing zonal sales and achieving aggressive targets.
• Deep understanding of mobile industry trends, channel structures, and pricing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive and motivate large, dispersed sales teams.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, MIS, and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the zone.
