Operations Technologist - Audio/Video Conferencing Manager

Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced Manager - Audio/Video Conferencing Executive to lead and oversee our audio and video conferencing infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of conferencing technologies, ensuring seamless communication across all business units. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and innovative conferencing solutions that support business continuity and enhance virtual collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and management of audio and video conferencing systems (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, etc.) across the organization.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and troubleshooting of conferencing infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers for installation, support, and upgrades.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for the use of conferencing technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and other departments to integrate conferencing solutions into broader communication frameworks.
  • Plan and execute training programs for end-users to enhance adoption and effective utilization of conferencing tools.
  • Monitor system usage, analyze performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging audio/video conferencing technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions.
  • Manage budgets related to conferencing technology procurement, licensing, and maintenance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of conferencing support specialists or executives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in managing audio/video conferencing systems and services.
  • Proven expertise with major conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex,
  • Google Meet, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of networking, audio/video hardware, codecs, and unified communication technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Collaboration, Microsoft Teams Expert) are a plus.
