Operations Manager

Industry: Manufacturing / OEM (Stainless Steel, Refrigeration, Commercial Kitchen Equipment etc.)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who will oversee dispatch planning, sales coordination, production status tracking, and overall post-sales operations. The role will involve managing a operations team and ensuring smooth communication between Sales, Production, and Dispatch departments.

Key Responsibilities1. Post-Sales Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate end-to-end post-sales activities from order confirmation to final dispatch.
• Ensure timely creation of job orders, delivery schedules, and dispatch documents.
• Track customer orders and provide regular updates to the sales team and customers.

2. Production & Dispatch Monitoring

• Follow up with the production team for order status, material availability, and timelines.
• Ensure all dispatches happen as per schedule; resolve bottlenecks proactively.
• Maintain daily/weekly MIS reports on production progress and dispatch status.

3. Sales Coordination

• Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and deadlines.
• Share production lead times, dispatch commitments, and coordinate client communication.
• Maintain order database, ensure accuracy in order entries, and follow proper documentation flow.

4. Team Management

• Lead and supervise a team of 5–10 members handling operations and coordination.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to process.
• Train team members on documentation, ERP/Tally entries, and internal coordination.

5. Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in coordination, dispatches, or communication and suggest improvements.
• Implement best practices for efficiency and faster turnaround.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in operations, post-sales coordination, or production coordination.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/OEM industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of order cycle, production flow, and dispatch processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/Tally and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and team handling skills.
• Strong follow-up ability and problem-solving mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
