Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager at Energy Events, your role will be crucial in delivering exceptional large-scale events in the exhibitions and conferences industry. You will be part of a fast-paced environment where you will face new challenges every day. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage end-to-end operational planning for conferences and exhibitions - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Production - Ensure operational excellence by delivering projects on time, within budget, and with a strong return on investment - Take the lead on technical operations such as Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), security, signage, feature areas, and logistics - Conduct site visits, negotiate with vendors, and oversee full tender processes - Maintain effective communication with suppliers, venues, and stakeholders - Drive continuous improvements and operational efficiencies - Provide support to the wider operations team as necessary **Requirements:** - Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing large-scale events and temporary structures - Possess a strong commercial mindset with experience in budget management - Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities - Ability to stay composed and solution-oriented under pressure - Strong communication skills and adept at stakeholder management - Knowledge of Health & Safety best practices - Proficient in MS Office; exposure to Monday.com/Smartsheet is advantageous - Preferred certifications in AutoCAD and IOSH If you join our team, you will have the opportunity to work on major international energy events, where your contributions will impact thousands of attendees.
