🎯 Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Café Manager to lead day-to-day operations at one of our Mitti Café locations. This role requires strong people skills, hands-on café management experience, and a deep belief in inclusion.

As a Café Manager, you will ensure smooth operations, customer satisfaction, and a supportive working environment for persons with disabilities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

💼 Operations & Sales

• Oversee daily café operations, including kitchen and service
• Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards
• Ensure accurate billing, stock management, and daily cash reconciliation
• Drive local promotions and engagement to increase sales

👥 Team Management

• Lead a team of employees with and without disabilities
• Coordinate work schedules, task delegation, and breaks
• Train and mentor café staff in service and soft skills
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe workspace

🧾 Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily/weekly operational reports
• Track attendance and share feedback with HR
• Report maintenance or inventory issues proactively

🤝 Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Represent Mitti Café values to customers, partners, and vendors
• Build good relations with the hosting institution (if café is on a campus or corporate site)
• Handle customer feedback and grievance redressal

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• 2 year of experience in café/restaurant or hospitality operations preferred
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage diverse teams with patience and empathy
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, inclusive environment
• Proficiency in local language(s) and basic English
• Graduate preferred; diploma in hotel management or relevant field is a plus
