Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining accurate financial records. Daily tasks include processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications

• Financial Management: Experience with financial transactions, budgeting, and forecasting
• Accounting Skills: Proficiency in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and maintaining accurate records
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial analysis
• Compliance: Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in a non-profit organization is a plus
