Role summary

MGI is hiring a hands‑on Operations / Center Manager for its Kozhikode campus. The role combines institute operations, team leadership, and student admissions, and includes a key responsibility to help design and implement new non‑aviation courses (business, management, technology and other career programs).

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the campus: class schedules, faculty coordination, front office, and facilities.
• Drive student admissions and meet monthly/annual enrolment targets through counselling, follow‑ups, and local marketing activities.
• ​
• Work with management to design, upgrade, and implement new courses beyond aviation, including syllabus planning with internal and external subject experts.
• ​
• Ensure high standards of student service, handle student/parent queries, and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor performance of counsellors and other staff; conduct regular review meetings and basic training.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and simple regulatory requirements, and prepare periodic MIS reports for management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an education/training institute, coaching centre, or service‑sector branch/center management role.
• Strong communication, counselling, and people‑management skills; comfortable working with students, parents, and faculty.
• Proven ability to work with targets and manage a small team.
• Graduate in any discipline; MBA / business / education / management background is an added advantage.

• Interest in course development and upgrading training programs, not limited to aviation.

Salary: 30,000–50,000 INR per month (based on experience)
