Job Description

About the Role:

Operations Manager


Key Responsibilities:

1

  • Oversee all operational activities of the company from the Head Office.
  • Design and implement business processes, workflows, and internal controls to support growth and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with global/regional branches to ensure alignment with HQ policies and standards.

  • Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure full regulatory adherence (e.g., RBI, FEMA, PMLA).
  • Oversee KYC/AML onboarding processes, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.


3. Technology & Platform Management and Maintenance

  • Lead new system rollouts or enhancements in cooperation with tech teams.
  • Lead platform testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.


4. Client Services & Support Operations

  • Oversee client support operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Optimize client onboarding, funding, withdrawals, and back-office processing.
  • Address and resolve operational escalations related to client accounts or transactions.


5. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Act as the central operational liaison between departments (e.g., Compliance, Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT).
  • Ensure consistent service delivery and operations across customer support, dealing desk, and finance teams.
  • Drive efficiency through automation and cross-functional collaboration.


6. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team at the Head Office.
  • Set clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and support team development.
  • Foster a results-driven, compliant and service-oriented culture.


7. Reporting & Executive Support

  • Prepare periodic operational reports, performance dashboards, and risk assessments for senior leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives, product launches, and expansion projects.
  • Participate in board-level discussions on operational strategy, compliance, and infrastructure development.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of proven experience in operations within a Retail Forex.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., RBI, FEMA, PMLA).
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and regional branches from a central location.
