Operations Head

Job Description: You will be responsible for planning resources according to customer schedules and ensuring no customer complaints. Your key responsibilities will include: - Meeting with all HODs to discuss production targets and new implementations for achieving targets. - Checking the shop floor for improvements and 5S activities. - Ensuring safety awareness in the plant and planning to improve it. - Managing consumable and spares costs with respect to sales. - Executing resource utilization and optimization. - Analyzing rejections and reducing rework, along with planning and executing VA/VE and cost-saving projects. - Reviewing monthly MRM data of departments and implementing action plans to improve plant efficiency. - Submitting monthly MRM data analysis to top management. - Leading as the Operation Head of various production areas such as Press Shop Production, Weld Shop Assembly, Robotic Production, and Quality. - Handling robots and robotic lines. - Ensuring efficiency and productivity of 3 shifts in the production area. - Overseeing the execution and smooth functioning of production-assembly processes. - Developing processes and systems for assembly operations. - Utilizing resources like manpower, machines, and materials effectively. - Supporting quality regarding customer and IHR issues, and implementing necessary actions. - Assisting the Development & Quality team for new business and lines. - Studying process feasibility, automation feasibility, and implementing improvements. - Balancing lines to increase production and analyzing quality-related defects. - Developing innovations in processes through kaizen and mistake-proofing. - Installing new lines and designing line layouts. - Implementing TPM for JH/PM/QM/KK. - Interacting with customers for supply plans. - Balancing lines, reducing lead times, optimizing processes, and planning layouts for Assembly. - Mastering robots, teaching axis, and calibrating equipment. - Collaborating with other departments for a smooth assembly line flow.
