Operations Head

As the Operation Head in the manufacturing plant, your primary responsibilities will include planning resources based on customer schedules, conducting meetings with HODs to discuss production targets and new implementations, ensuring no customer complaints, overseeing shop floor improvements and 5S activities, and enhancing safety awareness within the plant. You will also be accountable for managing consumables and spares cost in relation to sales, optimizing resource utilization, analyzing rejection rates and rework reduction strategies, and executing cost-saving projects. Moreover, you will review monthly departmental MRM data, develop action plans to enhance plant efficiency, and report the analysis to top management. In your role, you will lead various production areas such as Press Shop Production, Weld Shop Assembly, Robotic Production, and Quality. You will handle robot operations, ensure efficiency and productivity across three shifts, and oversee the smooth functioning of production and assembly processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for resource optimization, project setup, system implementation, and supporting quality and development teams. Your tasks will also involve studying process and automation feasibility, implementing improvements through kaizen and mistake-proofing, installing new production lines, and designing line layouts. Furthermore, you will drive TPM implementation, liaise with customers for supply planning, coordinate line balancing activities, and optimize operations sequences and layout planning for assembly processes.
