Operations Head

As an Operations Manager, your role will involve successfully executing events by managing all aspects of event production, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site logistics. Your ability to multitask, think on your feet, and solve problems quickly will be crucial in delivering exceptional event experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact for all event-related inquiries and manage client expectations while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. - Oversee end-to-end event operations, including presentation, venue finalization, vendor coordination, logistics, budgeting, and execution. Create detailed project timelines and day-of schedules to ensure events align with company objectives through cross-department coordination. - Lead and supervise event staff, contractors, and volunteers. Delegate tasks efficiently and ensure proper training on setup, breakdown, safety, and service standards. - Negotiate contracts to secure the best rates and terms. Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, vendors, and industry partners. - Troubleshoot issues before, during, and after events. Collect client feedback and testimonials to ensure quality control and continuous improvement. - Prepare post-event reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends for continuous growth. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: - 8-12 years of experience in event planning and production with a proven track record of successful event execution from start to finish. Skills: - Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Creative problem-solving ability with a high level of organization and attention to detail. Education: - Bachelor's or master's degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
