Job Title: Operation Head

Department: Operation

Reports To: Head of Operations

Role Overview:

The Operations Head is responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of multiple cinema theatres under DNC Theatres LLP. This includes ensuring operational excellence, profitability, compliance, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management of theatre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management

  • Oversee theatre operations including ticketing, concessions, housekeeping, and projection systems.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs for safety, hygiene, and customer service.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics and implement corrective actions.

2. Financial & Revenue Management

  • Prepare and manage theatre budgets.
  • Track revenue streams (Box Office, F&B, Advertising) and control costs.
  • Drive initiatives to improve profitability and reduce wastage.

3. Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage theatre managers and staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure high employee engagement.
  • Implement training programs for customer service and technical skills.

4. Customer Experience

  • Maintain high standards of service and ambience.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and feedback.
  • Introduce innovative offerings to enhance audience experience.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, licensing, and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain security protocols and emergency preparedness.

6. Technology & Process Improvement

  • Oversee digital ticketing systems and POS operations.
  • Implement automation and process improvements for efficiency.
  • Coordinate with IT for system upgrades and troubleshooting.

7. Marketing & Promotions Support

  • Collaborate with marketing teams for movie launches and campaigns.
  • Support local promotional activities and partnerships.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of cinema operations and entertainment industry trends.
  • Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
  • Customer-centric approach with problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of projection systems and theatre technology is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.

12–15 years of experience in operations management, preferably in cinema or hospitality sector.
