(Internal Process + SOP + Admin + Coordination)
Position Title: Operations & Communication Executive
Location: Guwahati, Assam (On-site, full-time)
Reporting To: Founder / CEO
Salary Range: ₹28,000 – ₹40,000 per month (above market average, based on capability)
🎯 Role Objective
To act as the communication and coordination backbone of Journeys Travel — documenting and streamlining all processes, ensuring smooth internal communication, and supporting the management with SOP creation, reporting, and day-to-day administration.
🧠 Key Responsibilities:
Process Documentation & SOP Creation
Work directly with the Founder to understand existing workflows and document them into clear, step-by-step SOPs.
Maintain a centralized digital library of SOPs, templates, and checklists (Google Drive / Notion).
Continuously update processes as the company grows.
Internal Communication & Coordination
Ensure smooth communication between the Founder and all team members.
Schedule and summarize daily/weekly meetings, track follow-ups, and maintain team dashboards.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain booking, invoice, and vendor payment trackers.
Prepare basic performance reports (bookings, payments, client feedback).
Support accountant with data entry and expense reporting.
Administrative Support:
Draft professional emails, letters, and presentations.
Manage company files, vendor contracts, and document compliance records.
Assist with recruitment coordination, onboarding checklists, and HR documentation.
Quality & Improvement:
Identify operational gaps and suggest process improvements.
Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Act as the “internal system builder” to help scale the company.
🧩 Key Skills & Competencies:
Education: Graduate or Postgraduate (any stream, preference for English, Commerce, or Business Administration).
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English. Able to draft professional mails, SOPs, and reports.
Computer Proficiency: Expert in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace. Bonus: experience with Notion, Trello, or CRM software.
Organization: Extremely detail-oriented, process-driven, and good with documentation.
Behavioural: Honest, disciplined, proactive, and eager to learn. Must be comfortable working directly under the Founder.
Experience: 1–4 years preferred (operations, admin, travel back-office, or coordination roles). Freshers with strong English & tech skills can also be considered.
