Operation Executive

Operations Executive – Roles & Responsibilities 1. Project Coordination & Execution Prepare project timelines, track milestones, and ensure installation work is completed within deadlines. Coordinate with survey team, warehouse/logistics, site engineers, and net meter executive to avoid bottlenecks. Conduct site readiness checks before dispatching materials. 2. Vendor & Material Management Ensure timely procurement, delivery, and availability of panels, inverters, structures, cables, and balance of components (BOC). Monitor inventory levels and update stock registers. Raise purchase requests / indent as per project requirements. 3. Quality & Safety Compliance Ensure all installations follow company standards (GI/Aluminum structures, Polycab wiring, triple-layer safety, proper earthen). Conduct periodic quality checks at project sites. Enforce safety protocols for on-site workers (PPE, safety harness, electrical safety).   4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain project-wise documentation including work orders, delivery challans, installation photos, commissioning certificates, and handover reports. Update daily project status reports (ongoing, completed, pending, delayed). Assist in subsidy and loan documentation by providing installation and commissioning proofs.   5. Coordination with Customers Act as the point of contact for customers during the installation phase. Update customers regularly on project progress, expected completion, and any delays. Address on-site issues, customer concerns, and escalate critical cases to management.   6. Support in Net Metering & Commissioning Ensure all pre-requisites for net meter installation are fulfilled (system testing, load verification, compliance). Assist net meter executive and DISCOM officials during inspection and commissioning. Verify synchronization of solar system with grid before handover.   7. Team & Process Management Supervise site engineers, technicians, and support staff during project execution. Allocate manpower and resources efficiently for multiple ongoing projects. Provide feedback and training to site teams to improve efficiency and reduce errors.   8. KPI / Performance Metrics On-time project completion rate. Average installation turnaround time per kW/project. Material utilization and wastage control. Customer satisfaction score during installation stage. Compliance with safety & quality standards.
