Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Payroll Management:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees (corporate and plant staff) in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy in salary calculations including bonuses, incentives, deductions, taxes, and arrears.
  • Coordinate with internal HR Team and Finance teams for payroll inputs like attendance, leaves, increments, new joiners, exits, etc.
  • Reconcile monthly payroll and coordinate disbursement details with finance
  • Handle full and final settlements and resolve employee queries related to salary.

Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements, including:
    • Provident Fund (PF)
    • Employee State Insurance (ESI)
    • Professional Tax (PT)
    • Income Tax (TDS)
    • Gratuity, Bonus Act, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.
  • File monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns accurately and on time with support of the HR Team
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and government notifications affecting payroll and compliance.

Audit & Documentation:

  • Maintain up-to-date payroll and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure recordkeeping in accordance with statutory requirements and internal policies.

Process Improvement & Systems:

  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Worked with HRMS/ERP systems will be and added advantage (for payroll processing and compliance tracking).
  • Train internal stakeholders on payroll processes and statutory norms where required.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Looking for 10-15 days or Immediate Joiners

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory regulations.
  • Proficient in payroll software and HRMS tools.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
