What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout sessions, seamless transitions, and interactive group activities
• Empowering students to participate actively through engaging communication and personalized interactions
• Ensuring students remain focused, confident, and connected during their learning journey
• Collaborating with lead educators to manage behind-the-scenes logistics for smooth workshop execution
• Fostering a vibrant culture and serving as a reliable presence across diverse bilingual tracks and clubs

• Developing lesson plans or grading student work
• Crafting curriculum or independently leading workshops

Online Youth Mentor Key Responsibilities

Drive engaging virtual learning experiences by ensuring students are organized, motivated, and actively participating in each workshop session.

Basic Requirements

• Available to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or youth leadership
• Educational background from US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (current location can be anywhere)
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with digital platforms
• Dynamic, student-centered approach with attention to detail and smooth operational skills
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Familiarity with online educational tools or youth enrichment initiatives
• Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, or leadership roles in clubs

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $20 USD/hour, which equates to $40,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
