What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating engaging virtual workshops by managing breakout rooms, transitions, and group activities.
• Boosting student motivation and participation through interactive chats, shout-outs, and personal interactions.
• Ensuring students remain focused, self-assured, and connected during their educational journey.
• Assisting lead educators with logistical tasks to ensure smooth workshop operations.
• Contributing as a culture-builder and reliable presence across bilingual tracks and clubs.

• Developing lesson plans or evaluating assignments.
• Creating curriculum or independently conducting workshops.

Online Youth Mentor Key Responsibilities

Enhance vibrant virtual learning experiences by ensuring students remain engaged, organized, and energized during each workshop session.

Basic Requirements

• Availability from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, US Mountain Time (UTC-7).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth.
• Educational experience within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) — attendance in one of these countries is required, though current location is flexible.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with digital platforms.
• An energizing, student-centric approach with attention to detail and seamless transition skills.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $20 USD/hour, which equates to $40,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
