What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating dynamic virtual workshops by managing breakout rooms and transitions.
• Encouraging student participation through interactive chats and personal check-ins.
• Ensuring students remain engaged and confident in their learning journey.
• Supporting lead educators with logistical tasks to maintain smooth workshop operations.
• Building a positive, inclusive culture across various programs.

Online Youth Mentor Key Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging and organized virtual workshops, ensuring students are motivated and connected throughout each session.

Basic Requirements

• Available to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or youth leadership.
• Educational experience in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16).
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with digital platforms.
• An energetic, student-focused approach with attention to detail and smooth facilitation.
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Familiarity with online learning platforms or youth enrichment programs.
• Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, or club leadership roles.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The compensation level for this role is $20 USD/hour, which equates to $40,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
